Devon Road Sauvignon Blanc 2009
The Devon Road Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2009 was made from selected estate fruit near the stony banks of Marlborough's Wairau River. Lifted aromas of passionfruit and gooseberry abound. A vibrant, lively wine, this Sauvignon Blanc balances the freshness of melon and lime with rich, ripe tropical fruit on the palate and a lingering finish. Subtle use of seasoned french oak barrels on a portion of the blend adds further weight and complexity.

Castaway Bay Chardonnay 2008
The golden berries for this wine were specially selected from five premium sites in Marlborough's renowned Wairau Valley. A portion of the wine was cool fermented in stainless steel to allow the fruit to fully express its character; a richly textured barrel component, aged for three months, provides balance, depth and complexity. The result is a lively, fruity wine with lovely peach and nectarine aromas, fresh citrus notes balancing its soft, creamy texture and a ling finish. This wine is ready for drinking now. Pair it with Seafood and Asian cuisine, or drink as an aperitif with friends.

Papa Estate Kumeu Syrah 2008
This Syrah was matured in oak barriques. It's a dark red wine exhibiting spicy blackberry, plum and peppery flavours. it has a soft texture and a smooth, lingering finish. Syrah is a great match for rich, spicy food, including peppered beef, pizzas, stews and mexican and thai cuisine. David Papa's father, Mate, was a dalmatian immigrant at purchased the property at Station Road, Huapai in 1935. Mate planted the vineyard and began making wine. David and his wife Nellie still live on that property and have continued the family family tradition. An outstanding price for an NZ Syrah!

This fragrant, full-bodied Pinot Noir goes down a treat. A delicious wine with a seductive combination of dark berry fruit and spicy flavours.
